Malia Clark

Malia Clark is a Master's of Social Work student at the University of Michigan. She graduated from Harvard College with a B.A. in Psychology. Her primary field placement is at the Ann Arbor VA, serving veterans admitted to the Acute Inpatient Mental Health (AIMH) Unit. Her research interests include increasing access to mental health care resources, expanding suicide prevention efforts, and providing trauma-informed care for underserved populations, including youth and individuals experiencing serious mental illness. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career that combines clinical work and research to help individuals and communities heal from trauma.
